LIGH TN ING – Fantasy Violence (Ashida Park 017)

Creating virtually alive systems of musical and aesthetic relations which have been organically growing and evolving, Moscow based music composer and video games sound designer Konstantin Knerik aka “LIGH TN ING” spent 2 years on writing the music that resulted in being their debut album. “Fantasy Violence”, a 10-track body of work, originally consisted out of several large projects that were intertwined into each other and over time slowly shaped into their final form. A self-induced isolation incited an unchained mind that “drew” a map of a dimension where an apocalyptic event is taking place in a musically driven imaginary world.

“Fantasy Violence” is a story told by navigating through chaos using accessible digital tools, emotionalizing sounds and colliding systems.
